Bueno was established to introduce the benefits of data analytics into the HVAC industry, initially to deliver energy savings and better sustainability outcomes. Bueno quickly discovered that the benefits of data analytics and machine learning were required across all engineering systems within a building, not just HVAC. This resulted in significant energy savings.

Globally, we now have our software implemented in over 1700 commercial buildings and we have saved over 2.5 Millions tonnes of CO2 being emitted into our global environment.

This enables clients to respond to climate change by balancing improved indoor environment quality (IEQ) and refrigeration performance with reduced carbon emissions and energy consumption. Leon is the founder of Bueno, winner of the ARBS Young Achievers Achievers award, advisory board member for Realcomm, and international smart building speaker. Leon believes that prop-tech can disrupt industries with a pro-social outcome and has the power to create a more sustainable workforce, environment, and synergy between people.

What is the company's business model and how is this scalable?

Bueno’s proprietary, open-engineered software autonomously collects and can monitor data from all engineering systems within a building, such as BMS, lighting, fire systems, vertical transport, access control and refrigeration. It is highly adaptable and can integrate seamlessly into any system, IoT, building system or platform. There are no platform limitations to scalability or depth of information available.

Globally there are no other companies who can demonstrate this depth of capabilities delivered at scale (>1,700 buildings, >14Mm2).
