What kind of innovation or technology does the company use?

We developed a platform for energy and costs analysis based on energy simulations. We use grasshopper, Rhino and Python combined to create our own algorithms. Energy simulations are well know and used for reaching a certain goal, we enable a parametric approach to test and validate over 4k scenarios with AI to capture the best cost effective solution.

Who are the founders of the company and what is their experience?

Fabricio Lucchesi, civil engineer with a Master in architectural engineering at the Technical University of Denmark. I have contributions to CLIMA 2019 and the International Building Physics Conference 2021, where I collaborated with industry leaders such as Saint Gobain and DTU within internal thermal insulation systems for heritage buildings.
Alexandre Castagini, civil engineer with decades of experience with efficient systems such as hydraulics radiant heating and heat pumps. He founded Hygge to help to reduce energy demands on homes and create more efficient environment.
Later Rodrigo Leitzke joined, he has a bachelor in computer science with a Master in Architecture and Urban Planning. His experience is within coding algorithm and simulations to improve the energy performance of the buildings.

What is the leadership style of the company? Is this a sustainable one?

It is an organic horizontal company, which Fabricio and Alexandre empower individuals with decisions and proactivity in their daily tasks. We also believe that a partnership model is crucial, so individuals have the opportunity to become associate of the company and work towards the company objectives and goals.

What is the company's business model and how is this scalable?

Our process is very lean, we can run a project within 5 days, up to 12 projects a month with the current team. In order to double we would need just one more intern or modelling analyst. We are also based in Brazil which makes our operational costs lower than european companies. Our proposal for clients are tight to a percentage of the total costs reduction we provide in HVAC systems. The more we save the more the client saves and we earn.
