What is the measurable positive impact from implementing ESG?

Tuuli’s vision is to transform all infrastructure to be a climate solution. Our goal is to shift the built environment from its current status as the largest contributor to the climate crisis, responsible for 40% of global CO2 emissions, to become net-positive solutions. This transformation is not just about structures; it's about changing communities worldwide. Tuuli emerges as a pivotal force, poised to be the primary catalyst in achieving global climate objectives.

Tuuli influences the way ESG goals are determined for companies and how companies create solutions to meet their ESG goals.

What kind of innovation or technology does the company use?

Using AI trained with real building and powered by over 40,000 materials Tuuli creates cost effective strategies to meet mandatory carbon targets. We have built a database that grows with every analysis that we complete to create a solution that helps developers all across the world cost effectively decarbonize their buildings with a click of a few buttons. Right now developers spend months reaching out to architects and consultants to produce solutions that cost developers millions of dollars. With Tuuli we can review 100x more materials than consultants to create solutions that save developers on average $1M.

Who are the founders of the company and what is their experience?

The CEO, Vit, has dedicated his entire career to sustainability and has authored one of the few published articles outlining how buildings can effectively meet the highest sustainability standards. His architectural background specializing in sustainable design, experience as a building code consultant and Master's research in energy and carbon retrofitting has uniquely equipped him with the expertise to build the solution that the industry needs. Specifically, his expertise in the embodied carbon space positions him as the ideal leader to spearhead our mission.

Arpan, the CTO, is an engineer with a strong background in hardware and software development, early-stage startups and fundraising. Prior to joining the team, he co-founded Clarivent Medical, where he was developing innovative respiratory care devices, securing government funding and forming strategic partnerships. He has since moved to a board role. Additionally, Arpan’s global experience in computational research labs, and experience doing building design and construction in his family’s construction business give him the skills to develop the Tuuli software.

Colleen, the CPO, has a strong background leading software development teams, spearheading data driven product strategy and creating intuitive UI/UX. She also has a strong foundation in sustainability, developed through projects and research around sustainable economic development at Lund University in Sweden.

What is the leadership style of the company? Is this a sustainable one?

The leadership style of our company is collaborative and results-driven. We believe in fostering an environment where each team member's strengths are recognized and utilized to achieve our common goals. Open communication, active participation, and a shared commitment to our mission characterize our leadership approach. We emphasize a flat organizational structure, encouraging team members to contribute their ideas and insights, promoting innovation and efficiency. This leadership style is sustainable as it aligns with our values of inclusivity, adaptability, and continuous improvement. By valuing the unique skills and perspectives of each team member, we create a cohesive and motivated team that can navigate challenges and drive the company's success.

What is the company's business model and how is this scalable?

Our primary target audience comprises developers to whom we can directly market Tuuli, either individually or through collaborations with sustainability consultants and engineers. To effectively reach and engage these customers, we have devised an initial strategy leveraging our extensive network, which includes over 1000 developers and consultants. To kickstart this process, we plan to introduce a free ESG tool that not only assists in securing clients but also serves as a powerful medium for raising awareness about our optimization capabilities.

As we scale our operations, we envision forging partnerships with municipalities to integrate Tuuli into local policies, making it a mandated component. Additionally, we aim to collaborate with green building councils to actively promote the adoption of Tuuli. Beyond that, we aspire to extend the reach of our technology by incorporating it into educational institutions and conferences, facilitating research initiatives and showcasing the full spectrum of Tuuli's capabilities.
